Having a pain-free, healthy lower back is paramount not only to a strong yoga practice, but to a healthy lifestyle in general. In this workshop, we will focus on the key principles of alignment for a healthy lower back, and learn how to heal, strengthen, and protect the lower back using a variety of poses (and modifications), including standing poses, simple backbends, and seated and supine poses. Learn effective ways to address this common issue at every level of practice.
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
