Enjoy a moderate hike up Granite Chief Trail while learning about the basic elements of photography. We will discuss composition, light, depth, line, texture, pattern & shape and the vantage point of your photograph. Along the hike we will have plenty of stops to capture images of the stunning views and to work with your camera settings so you can have a better understanding of how to improve your photography. Please bring a digital SLR or "point-and-shoot" with a charged battery, and wear comfortable hiking shoes.
Class time devoted to lecture: 21-30 minutes
